Late last year, we got an early look at the Moto G7 in the form of renders that were based on factory CADs. Now the Moto G7 has leaked again, but this time it's appeared in an official image, and it's brought its variants with it.
Images of the Moto G7 Play (above), Moto G7 Power (below, black), Moto G7 (below, white), and Moto G7 Plus (below, red) have all leaked out. The G7 Play and G7 Power each have a wide notch at the top of their screens, a Motorola-branded chin, and a single rear camera with a Motorola-branded fingerprint reader. Meanwhile, the G7 and G7 Plus each have a smaller teardrop notch, a dual rear camera setup, and a Moto-branded rear fingerprint reader.
Spec details for these phones are light, but since they're Moto G-series phones, expect 'em to be fairly mid-range. The Moto G7 Play is expected to pack a Snapdragon 632 processor while the Moto G7 Power may have a Snapdragon 625 processor and a huge 5000mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus may come to market with Snapdragon 632 chipsets.
Motorola's Moto G series of phones have often been praised as some of the best affordable smartphones you can buy, offering solid designs and specs with fairly untouched software and aggressive pricing. Today's report says that the Moto G7 Play will cost €149 EUR ($170 USD) while the Moto G7 Power will come with a price of €209 EUR ($238 USD), but there's no word yet on what Motorola has planned for U.S. pricing.
It's also still unknown when Motorola might announce the Moto G7 series, but the Moto G6 phones were revealed in May last year, so we may still have a few months to wait before we officially meet these Moto G7 devices.
