Remember that leaked iPhone XI design that appeared in renders earlier this month? Well according to a new leak, it may not be the only design Apple has considered.
A new set of renders claims to show a new iPhone XI (iPhone 11) design that's allegedly being prototyped by Apple. According to CompareRaja and OnLeaks, both this design and the one we saw earlier this month are "very early in the production process" and in the EVT (Engineering Validation Test) stage of Apple's process.
As for the design itself, this new iPhone XI leak shows a device with a same general look as the iPhone X and XS, but with a smaller notch and slightly thinner bezels. Around back is a triple rear camera setup like the previously leaked design, but this one is arranged in a horizontal line that's centered on the phone's backside, above the Apple logo. Around the middle sensor is the flash, and right below it is a microphone.
A recent report suggested that while Apple will launch three iPhone models in 2019, only one of them will have a triple rear camera setup. That means that one of these two leaked designs could actually make it to market. What we don't know is which one Apple might choose. The zig-zag pattern in a square protrusion is in a similar placement as the rear cameras on Apple's previous iPhones have been, but perhaps the company would prefer today's leaked design as it's a bit smaller.
Which of the two leaked iPhone XI designs do you prefer?
