After getting new Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red color options earlier this year, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are now getting another new coat of paint.
Samsung has introduced Ice Blue versions of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in China. These phones jump on the color gradient trend that we've seen on some other devices lately, starting with a light blue hue at the top of the S9's backside that slowly changes into a sort of frost white at the bottom of the phone.
The Ice Blue Galaxy S9 and S9+ each come with 128GB of built-in storage. Pricing for the Ice Blue Galaxy S9 is set at 5499 yuan ($791 USD), while the Ice Blue Galaxy S9+ is 6499 yuan ($934 USD). Samsung hasn't said when or if these phones will become available in other parts of the globe.
We're fans of the gradient color trend that's popular in smartphones now, so we dig the Ice Blue versions of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The only downside is that because color gradient is on the back of the phone, it'll be covered up by most cases. Hopefully there are some good clear case options for the GS9 and GS9+ out there!
