Heads up, iPhone X owners, because Apple has launched a repair program for your device.
Apple today confirmed its iPhone X Display Module Replacement Program for touch issues. The company says that some iPhone X displays may experience issues where the display, or part of the display, doesn't respond or responds intermittently to touch. Another issue may cause the iPhone X display to react even though it wasn't touched.
If your iPhone X is exhibiting any of these problems, you should have Apple examine it. You can either visit an Apple Authorized Service Provider, make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store, or contact Apple Support to mail in your device. If Apple can verify that your iPhone X is affected, it will replace the display module on your phone free of charge.
Considering the display is the main way that most iPhone X owners interact with their device, this display module issue sounds like a pretty serious one. It's unclear how many models are affected, but if you think your device may suffer from the problem, it's worth getting it checked out since you can get your display module replaced for free if your phone is indeed suffering from one of these issues.
