The OnePlus 6T will be officially unveiled later this month, and ahead of the announcement, OnePlus continues to tease the new features of its upcoming flagship.
OnePlus says that it's got "a ton of exciting stuff" planned for the OnePlus 6T. This includes "a whole new UI that you will have to experience for yourself to really understand". OnePlus has also made gesture navigation smoother, for example when you swipe up in an app, the app window will follow your finger for a more natural experience.
OnePlus has also worked to make gesture navigation faster in a couple of ways. By quickly flicking from the bottom of the screen towards the right, you can change between two recently used apps. There's also a new action that'll let you quickly access the Google Assistant by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds.
Another area of focus for OnePlus is improving the camera on the OnePlus 6T. OnePlus didn't say exactly what it's done to make the camera performance better, but considering that many folks use their smartphone as their primary camera, hearing that the OnePlus worked to improve the camera on the OP6T is welcome news.
The OnePlus 6T will be officially announced on October 30th, but OnePlus has already confirmed a few spec details of its upcoming device. We know that the OnePlus 6T will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and a Snapdragon 845 processor, and that it won't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. While we wait for the rest of the OP6T's features to be officially announced, the rumor mill has been churning out leaks that may give us an early look at the next OnePlus flagship.
