One month after its official debut, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE is available for pre-order in the U.S.
Amazon is now taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry KEY2 LE. There are two color options to choose from — Slate and Champagne — both of which come unlocked with support for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in the U.S. The Slate version of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE will launch on October 12th, while the Champagne model will arrive on November 2nd.
As a refresher, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE is a more affordable version of the BlackBerry KEY2. Its specs include a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 3000mAh battery. There's a dual rear camera setup on the KEY2 LE that includes a 13MP sensor and a 5MP sensor, and around front there's an 8MP camera. Also included is a 4.5-inch 1620x1080 LCD screen, microSD card slot, and Android 8.1 Oreo.
Like the standard KEY2, the KEY2 LE offers a physical QWERTY keyboard to place your thumbs under. Its keys are nearly 10 percent larger than those on the BlackBerry KEYone, and the space bar doubles as a fingerprint reader. Also of note is the Speed Key, which will give you access to your programmable keyboard shortcuts without making you go back to your home screen.
