Rumors have suggested that Apple's upcoming 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could be offered in multiple colors, and now we may be getting an idea the different color options that'll be available.
Photos that claim to show the SIM trays for Apple's 6.1-inch LCD iPhone have been posted to Chinese social network Weibo. The images appear to show silver, space gray, red, blue, and copper/gold SIM trays.
A recent leak claimed to show red, blue, and white versions of this upcoming 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, and today's leak appears to back up those color options, with the silver SIM tray going into the white iPhone that has a silver outer edge. Space gray is one of the color options that Apple regularly uses, so it wouldn't be a surprise for the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone to come in that hue, too. Gold is also a popular color options for Apple devices, and it looks like the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could also get that paint job.
The 6.1-inch LCD iPhone is expected to be Apple's lower-cost iPhone for 2018. In addition to its LCD screen, the device will reportedly have a single rear camera and an aluminum outer edge. To compare, the flagship iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max/Plus will likely have OLED displays, dual rear camera setups, and stainless steel frames. Rumors have suggested that the lower-cost iPhone could be known as either iPhone Xc or iPhone Xr. The device will likely be announced at Apple's event tomorrow, so it won't be long before all is officially revealed.
