Last week brought us our first look at Apple's new flagship iPhone hardware for 2018 and a possible name for the iPhone X successor: iPhone Xs. Now the name of the larger iPhone flagship may have leaked, too.
Apple is likely to use the name "iPhone Xs Max" as the name for its larger iPhone flagship, according to sources speaking to 9to5Mac. The device will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch OLED display and a design similar to the iPhone X.
Many folks have expected Apple to use the "Plus" designator for its upcoming 6.5-inch OLED iPhone since Apple has used that branding for its previous big-screen phones. It's possible that since this 6.5-inch OLED iPhone is the first big-screen model in the iPhone X line, Apple wants to change up its naming scheme to help differentiate the new device from previous large iPhone devices. A previous report from Bloomberg claimed that Apple was considering dropping the "Plus" branding for its 6.5-inch OLED iPhone.
Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, as well as the Apple Watch Series 4, at an event on September 12th. What do you think of the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max names?
