Hot on the heels of Apple's announcement of its September 12th event, which will presumably be used to show off new iPhone models, an image that shows both phones has leaked.
An image that claims to show both the new iPhone X and the larger Plus version has been shared by 9to5Mac. The phones look fairly similar to the current iPhone X, but the outer edges of both phones are gold, a color that's not available on the existing iPhone X.
The image also shows both the 5.8-inch version of the iPhone X and a larger model, which is expected to have a 6.5-inch OLED screen. Today's report claims that these new devices will both be called iPhone XS.
Apple has previously used "S" as a way to name its iPhone models that were between major generations, like the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6s. Considering that these new iPhones are expected to look similar to the iPhone X but have internal upgrades, a name like "iPhone XS" makes sense for them.
What do you think of these new iPhone XS models? Do either of them interest you?
