We don't see a ton of new Android tablets released nowadays, but Lenovo is single-handedly trying to change that.
Lenovo today announced five — yes, five — new Android tablets. They range from entry-level to premium and they're all expected to launch later this year. Here's a quick rundown on all five new models:
- Lenovo Tab E7 (shown above) features a 7-inch 1024x600 LCD screen, 2MP rear and VGA front cameras, and 16GB of storage with a microSD slot for adding more storage. There's 1GB of RAM and a 2750mAh battery included, too, along with a MediaTek MT8167 processor in the Wi-Fi model and a MediaTek MT8321 processor in the 3G version. Also of note is that the Lenovo Tab E7 is the first tablet with Android Oreo (Go edition). It'll launch at Walmart.com in October for $69.99.
- Lenovo Tab E8 offers an 8-inch 1280x800 LCD screen, MediaTek MT8163B processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot. There are 5MP rear and 2MP front cameras as well, along with a 4850mAh battery and Android Nougat. The Lenovo Tab E8 is now available in Walmart stores with a starting price of $99.99.
- Lenovo Tab E10 is equipped with a 10.1-inch 1280x800 LCD screen, 5MP rear and 2MP front cameras, 16GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. Lenovo has also included a Snapdragon 210 processor, 4850mAh battery, dual front-facing speakers, and Android Oreo (Go edition). The Lenovo Tab E10 will launch in October at Walmart and other retailers with a starting price of $129.99.
- Lenovo Tab M10 steps things up with a 10.1-inch 1920x1200 LCD scree, Snapdragon 450 processor, 5MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera. There's 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot, too, as well as a 4850mAh battery and Android Oreo. The Lenovo Tab M10 will be available for pre-order from Amazon this winter.
- Lenovo Tab P10 is the top-end model, packing a 10.1-inch 1920x1200 screen, four front speakers, a Snapdragon 450 processor, and 4GB of RAM. There's 64GB of storage built in along with a microSD card slot and a 7000mAh battery. On the software side, the Tab P10 comes with Android Oreo. The Lenovo Tab P10 will be available for pre-order from Amazon this winter.
