Hot on the heels of the launch of trading in Pokémon Go, developer Niantic has announced that it's adding another feature related to trading.
Lucky Pokémon are joining Pokémon Go. These Lucky Pokémon require less Stardust to power up, which means they can reach a higher CP faster than a non-Lucky Pokémon, and you've got the chance to get one every time you take part in a Pokémon trade. The longer that a Pokémon lives inside your storage before a trade, the higher the chance that it'll become a sparkly Lucky Pokémon when you trade it to a friend.
Niantic also revealed today that Pokémon Go players who send Gifts to friends will now receive XP for doing so. Additionally, Gifts now have a chance of containing Stardust.
Are you playing Pokémon Go? If so, what do you think of the new Friends and Trading features?
