Father’s Day is taking place in a couple of weeks and if you still haven’t purchased a gift for your dad this year, it may be time to start looking for options. One of these offers worth checking out is Verizon, who has just announced its Father’s Day offers as a way of matching T-Mobile’s promotion.
For its Father’s Day promotion, Verizon has announced a couple of promos worth considering. The first offer comes as a buy-one-get-one-sorta-free deal on the iPhone 8. If you purchase an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X, you can get a discount on your second iPhone 8, 8 Plus, or X. This offer includes a $699 discount on the cost of the second device.
The other deal that Verizon is offering is targeted towards those who are interested in an Android flagship device. This time, you get a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) deal but only if you purchased the cheapest version of the devices available. There are a total of three devices under this promotion: the LG G7 ThinQ, Google Pixel 2, and the Samsung Galaxy S9.
The credit you receive for the second device will depend on which manufacturer you decided to buy from. If you opted for LG, you’ll get $750; for Samsung, you’ll get $799; and for Google, you’ll get $649. You can then use that money to purchase a second device. If you decide to get a more expensive device other than these three models, you will have to pay the difference.
Before you start purchasing any of these devices, you have to remember to read the fine print. Like many other BOGO offers, the credit you receive for the second device will be sent to you as a bill credit to your account over the next 24 months. This means you will have to be tied to Verizon during that time too. And in order to qualify for the deal, you will need to activate a new line of service.
The question left is are you more interested in the iPhone deal or the Android offer?
