Heads up, Android TV users, because one of your apps is about to go away.
Twitter has announced that on May 24th, the Twitter for Android TV app will no longer be available. Also disappearing on that date are the Twitter for Roku and Twitter for Xbox apps.
No reason for killing these apps was given. Twitter does say that if you want "the full Twitter experience," you should visit the website on your device or desktop.

It's always sad to see apps disappear, but Android TV doesn't seem to have caught fire with consumers, and it seems unlikely that many of the people that are using Android TV are using it to tweet instead of using their phone. If you have been using the Twitter apps for Android TV, Roku, or Xbox, at least now you've gotten a heads-up a couple of days before the apps are no longer available.
