Samsung is adding two new color options to the Galaxy S9 lineup.
The Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red versions of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are coming soon. Samsung says that the Sunrise Gold model is its first device to have a "satin gloss finish which wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer."
Meanwhile, Samsung touts that the Burgundy Red model — which was first announced for China one week ago — "is one of the deepest red colors available" that offers a look that's both "comtemporary and traditional".
The Burgundy Red Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available in Korea and China starting this month. The Sunrise Gold version will see wider availability, launching in June in select markets such as Australia, Chile, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. Additional release info is coming soon.
Samsung already sells the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple colors, and these new Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red add more luxurious color options to Samsung's flagship. Having more color options when picking out a smartphone is always a good thing, and now people interested in the GS9 or GS9+ are getting exactly that.
