The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ boast lots of high-end specs, now a new report says that they've got top-end wireless performance, too.

Ookla, the company that makes the Speedtest app, says that the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ have the fastest download speeds around. Specifically, data analyzed by Ookla shows that the S9's download speeds are up to  42 percent faster than the closest competitor. The report notes that the S9 is 37 percent faster than Apple's iPhone X and 17 percent faster than Google's Pixel 2.

These results come from analysis of Ookla's Speedtest Intelligence data that was gathered between February and April 2018.

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ have gotten a lot of praise for their displays, camera performance, and designs, and now we know that they've got great wireless performance, too. Wireless carriers are reguarly improving their network coverage and speeds, and so if getting the fastest download speeds possible from your network is important to you, the Galaxy S9 is a device to consider.
