One day before LG officially introduces its next flagship smartphone, one of the company's other notable devices has become available for pre-order.
The LG V30S ThinQ is now available for pre-order in the U.S. B&H Photo Video is now taking orders for the unlocked V30S ThinQ in Glossy Moroccan Blue and Matte Moroccan Blue. No matter which color you choose, you can expect to pay $929.99 for the device.
Specs for the LG V30S ThinQ include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, up from 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in the standard V30. The V30S ThinQ also includes a 6-inch 2880x1440 OLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor, a microSD card slot, a 5MP front camera, a 3300mAh battery, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
The back of the V30S ThinQ is home to its 16MP f/1.6 standard angle camera and 13MP f/1.9 wide angle camera. LG has equipped the V30S ThinQ with AI camera features, too, one of which is AI CAM, which will analyze the subjects in your frame and recommend the optimal shooting mode for it.
It's kind of strange to see the LG V30S ThinQ going up for pre-order one day before LG introduces the G7 ThinQ, but perhaps what we've heard about the G7 ThinQ so far may not interest some people. For example, we know the G7 ThinQ will have a notch, and some people don't care for display notches.
