iOS 11.3 brought with it many new features when it rolled out last month, including Business Chat, which lets you contact participating companies and purchase products from them using the stock iOS Messages app. Today T-Mobile announced that it's now part of Business Chat.
You can now chat with a T-Mobile customer support rep using the Messages app on iOS. To do so, just swipe right from your iOS home screen, search for T-Mobile, and tap the chat bubble. You can also search for T-Mobile in Apple Maps and begin a chat that way.
Business Chat is supported on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. When you use Business Chat with T-Mobile, you can ask questions, change your rate plan, make a payment, buy a new phone, and more.
T-Mobile also updated its iOS app to help you log in to your account within Messages.
Today's news means that T-Mobile is the first U.S. carrier to roll out support for Business Chat. While T-Mo already offers several different ways to contact its customer support, including phone calls, Twitter, and messaging in its T-Mobile app, adding support for Business Chat is a great move because it makes it even easier for T-Mo customers to get help using an app that they're very familiar with.
