Now that the Samsung Galaxy S9 has launched, many mobile enthusiasts have turned their attention to one of the next Android flagships in the pipeline, the LG G7. And the good news for them is that some new details on the G7 have leaked.
Renders that claim to show the LG G7 have made their way online. Shared by OnLeaks and TheMrPhone, these renders are based off of leaked factory CAD schematics.
The renders show a slab of a phone with a large screen that has minimal bezels. Like the iPhone X and some recent Android flagships from other companies, this LG G7 appears to have a display notch. Around back there's a vertically stacked dual camera setup with a fingerprint reader below it. And at the bottom of the phone is a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Today's report also claims to have some spec info for the LG G7. The device will reportedly feature a 6-inch display, Snapdragon 845 processor, dual 16MP rear cameras, and two models with different RAM and storage options: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
These leaked specs line up with what we've heard in the past about the LG G7. Most of those specs fit with what we'd expect from an Android flagship in 2018, but we'll have to wait until the G7 is officially announced before we know for sure if they're accurate. The good news is that LG is rumored to be aiming for a May launch for the G7, so it may not be long before all is revealed.
Based on what we've heard about the LG G7 so far, are you looking forward to this flagship?
