If you're in the market for an affordable Android smartphone, you may want to give BLU's latest offering a look.
The BLU R2 Plus is launching today and is now available from Amazon in a GSM unlocked form. It's even got an limited time introductory price. If you'd like to see it in action, you can see our hands-on video with the R2 Plus right here.
When it comes to specs, the BLU R2 Plus runs Android 7.0 on a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display. There are 13-megapixel cameras on the front and back of the device, and both have LED flashes, too. The rear camera is packing phase detection autofocus as well.
BLU has included a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with the R2 Plus, and there's also 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. Powering the R2 Plus is a 3,000mAh battery, and all of those features are crammed into an aluminum body that's 9.2mm thick.
The BLU R2 Plus features LTE bands 1/2/3/4/7/12/17/28 and it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the US.
