After quietly revealing the new Burgundy Red Galaxy S8 earlier this month, Samsung today officially confirmed the launch of the new S8 color option.
The Burgundy Red Samsung Galaxy S8 is launching in Korea today, November 28th. It'll expand to "select markets" later on, but Samsung isn't saying which markets will get this red GS8 or when they'll get it.
Here's what Samsung had to say about the GS8's new Burgundy Red paint job:
"The new, luxurious hue accentuates the elegance of the Galaxy S8’s ergonomic glass and metal form, creating a seamless and refined aesthetic that will resonate with a wide range of tastes."
This is the sixth color option for the Galaxy S8, joining Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold. It's good to see Samsung continue to add colors to the GS8 lineup, giving consumers more options if they decide to buy the flagship. Here's to hoping that we see Samsung give consumers the option of buying this Burgundy Red GS8 is a large number of countries around the world.
