One week after the OnePlus 5T began hitting virtual shelves, a new color option for the flagship phone has been revealed.
OnePlus has unveiled a Lava Red version of the OnePlus 5T in China. The device looks largely the same as the Midnight Black OnePlus 5T that's now on sale, but instead of an all black exterior, its back and sides are bright right.
So far, the Lava Red OnePlus 5T has only been revealed for China, where it'll be available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There's no word on when or if the Lava Red version of the OnePlus 5T will make its way to other regions.
This bright red OnePlus 5T might be a bit ostentatious for some, but I think it looks pretty sharp. The color matches the red that OnePlus often uses in its branding, and it's always nice to see more colorful smartphones come to market and offering something a bit different than the black, silver, and gold hues that we're used to now.
What do you think of the Lava Red OnePlus 5T? Would you buy it if it were offered in your part of the globe?
