Lots of people use Google Search to learn more about a restaurant that they're interested in, using it to find info about the restaurant's location, menu, and more. Soon Google Search will add another important piece of info about restaurants.

Google Search will soon gain info on restaurant wait times. When you search for a restaurant, you'll see a graph showing its popular times and an estimate of how long you'll have to wait for a table. You'll also be able to tap on a specific hour to get an estimated wait for that time.

Google says that this feature is rolling out to Google Search soon and that it also plans to add it to Google Maps.

While you can always call the restaurant you're interested in and get info on its wait times, this is still a nice addition to Google Search. Now you can get a wait time estimate while you're learning other info about a restaurant and decide if its worth your time to investigate the place further or move on to another spot.
