HTC is making it easier to purchase its smartphones.
HTC announced today that it’s teaming up with TD Partnership Programs to offer mobile device financing. The HTC Financing Program will let you buy mobile devices that are $599 or more with no money down and then make monthly payments.
Once you select your phone, you’ll apply for credit with HTC. If you’ve been approved, you’ll pay $0 down and 0% APR for 24 months with equal payments. The standard purchase APR is 29.99 percent.
HTC currently offers the 64GB and 128GB variants of the HTC U11 with financing. The 64GB model costs $649 total, but you can get it for $0 down and $28 per month for 24 months with HTC’s financing. The 128GB HTC U11 costs $729 total but is available for $0 down and $31 per month for 24 months with financing.
Many consumers in the U.S. buy their phones through their carriers, often with financing or a lease that lets them make monthly payments. Sprint is the exclusive carrier for the HTC U11 in the U.S., but with HTC’s new program, now customers of other carriers have another option for buying the HTC U11 with monthly payments.
