Apple today released its third iOS 11 update in as many weeks.

iOS 11.0.2 is now available for download. You can grab it over the air by going into Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone or iPad.

According to Apple, this update includes some bug fixes and other improvements. Here are the specific issues addresses by this update:

• Fixes an issue where crackling sounds may occur during calls for a small number of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus devices
• Addresses an issue that could cause some photos to become hidden
• Fixes an issue where attachments in S/MIME encrypted emails would not open

This is a small update, but it’s got some important fixes for iOS users. I’m sure that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus owners afflicted by the crackling earpiece issue will be glad to have the problem with their brand new smartphone fixed.
