The same day that T-Mobile launches Netflix On Us, AT&T has responded with an offer for its unlimited customers.
Starting Friday, September 15th, AT&T Unlimited Choice customers will receive HBO for free. This offer will be available to new and existing Unlimited Choice subscribers.
AT&T has offered free HBO to Unlimited Plus since April.
If you’re an Unlimited Choice subscriber that already pays for HBO through AT&T’s DirecTV, DirecTV Now, or U-verse TV, HBO will be included at no extra charge. If you subscribe to an AT&T video service but not HBO, then you’ll automatically receive access to HBO. And if you don’t subscribe to an AT&T video service, you’ll get HBO access through the DirecTV Now and HBO Go apps.
As a reminder, AT&T’s Unlimited Choice plan starts at a price of $60 per month for a single line or $115 per month for two lines. This includes unlimited talk and text, unlimited data at a max speed of 3Mbps, 480p video streaming, unlimited text from the U.S. to more than 120 countries, and unlimited roaming in Mexico and Canada.
