We don’t see a ton of new Android tablets come to market anymore, but today that’s precisely what T-Mobile has added to its shelves.
The LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus launched at T-Mobile today. Pricing is set at $0 down and $10 per month for 24 months, which works out to a full retail price of $240.
LG’s new tablet comes with Android 7.0 Nougat running on an 8-inch 1920x1200 display. The G Pad X2 8.0 Plus is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 2,900mAh battery, and it comes with 32GB of built-in storage. Also included is a microSD card slot if you’d like to add more storage to the device.
Other features of the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus include 5-megapixel front and rear cameras, a customizable Quick Button for launching your favorite app, and a Time Square mode for using your tablet as a night stand clock for displaying the time, date, weather, and more.
There is one other feature of the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus that’s worth mentioning, and it actually may be the most notable. The tablet comes with a Plus Pack that attaches to the back of the G Pad X2 8.0 Plus and includes a full-size USB port, its own 4,400mAh battery, stereo speaker, and a kickstand.
It may not be the most high-end tablet we’ve ever seen, but the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus looks like a solid, affordable device. That’s especially considering that the Plus Pack is included, giving you extra battery life and an improved entertainment experience.
