When Google revealed Android 8.0 Oreo this week, the company also named HTC as one of the companies that's scheduled to push out Oreo updates by the end of 2017. Now HTC has shed more light on its Oreo update plans.
HTC has confirmed that it plans to update the HTC U11, HTC U Ultra, and HTC 10 to Android 8.0 Oreo. These updates will be made available worldwide.
The company went on to say that it’ll share more details on its update plans, including additional devices, soon.
It’s not too surprising that HTC plans on updating the U11, U Ultra, and 10 to Android 8.0, as those are its three recent hero phones, and two of them just launched earlier this year. Still, it’s good to get confirmation of this straight from HTC.
