We’re now two weeks away from LG’s official V30 reveal, but the rumor mill has decided to show off the new LG flagship today.
Images that show the LG V30 from several sides have leaked out. As expected, the V30 is packing a large display with very thin bezels and curved edges. LG has previously confirmed that the V30 will have a 6-inch 2880x1440 OLED display.
Also of note is that unlike previous LG V series phones, this V30 has no secondary screen above the main display. Instead, LG will rely on software for this feature, using a floating semi-transparent bar that’ll offer quick access to frequently used actions.

Around on the back of this V30 is a dual rear camera setup, and below that is the fingerprint reader. The sides of the device are home to the volume buttons and a SIM/microSD slot.
Most of the LG V30’s spec list is still a mystery, but because this is a flagship device, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a Snapdragon 835 processor included as well as at least 4GB of RAM.
While the LG V30 may lack the secondary screen of its predecessors, it will follow the V series phones that came before it by placing a focus on camera performance. The LG V30’s dual rear camera setup will include an f/1.6 aperture and glass lens, which LG touts will help the phone to collect more light and offer better color reproduction.
The LG V30 will be officially revealed on August 31st.
