OnePlus today unleashed a OxygenOS beta release for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, and there are quite a few goodies included in the update.
The new OxygenOS Open Beta 17/8 includes new features like Ambient Display 2.0 which should stop accidental wakes when you’re pulling your phone out of your pocket, Lift Up Display to let you peek at notifications when you lift your phone, and an all-new OnePlus font that’s available in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
There are also some UI improvements in apps like Gallery and Weather, improved launching speed for third-party apps, and the May 1, 2017 Android security patch level.
