We’re officially deep into flagship season here in the mobile world, and it looks like the next company that’ll introduce a high-end handset will be Xiaomi.
Xiaomi today posted a teaser for an announcement that’s happening on April 19. The teaser hints that the Mi 6 will be shown on that date and that it’ll be “a guaranteed performance beast.” Xiaomi also says that the Mi 6 is “an accumulated effort of our dreams for the past 7 years.”
Last year’s Xiaomi Mi 5 came equipped with a flagship feature set that included a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 16-megapixel camera. Xiaomi then refreshed the Mi 5 later in 2016, launching the Mi 5s with a newer Snapdragon 821 processor, updated 12-megapixel camera, and a Mi 5s Plus model with deal rear cameras.
We’ll have to wait until April 19 to find out what features the Mi 6 will include, but considering that it’ll be a flagship device, it could offer high-end features like a Snapdragon 835 processor. The good news is that April 19 is only about a week away, so we don’t have much longer to wait before all will be revealed.
