Now that the Moto G5 is ready to launch, the rumor mill is turning its attention to another new Moto phone: the Moto X.
New images of what’s said to be the Moto X (2017) have leaked out. The photos show a device with Moto branding and a metal body that’s reminiscent of the Moto G5, with a round rear camera housing and a fingerprint reader below the display. While the Moto G5 is model number XT1687, though, this alleged Moto X identifies itself as the XT1801.
When it comes to features, this Moto X (2017) appears to have dual rear camera sensors, which would be a first for the Moto X series. There’s also a front-facing camera with a flash, and the recovery screen claims that this Moto X has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a Snapdragon 625 processor.
There’s no word on when this new Moto X might launch, so for now we’ll just have to ogle these leaked images. If today’s leak is accurate, it looks like this Moto X will a mid-range device, which doesn’t come as a huge surprise considering that the Moto Z devices are Moto’s flagship smartphones.
