Is there a better way to start a new week than with leaks of an upcoming flagship smartphone?
New images and video of the Samsung Galaxy S8 have leaked out. Up above, you can see a very brief clip that allegedly shows the GS8, complete with a fingerprint reader to the right of its rear camera and a sticker that says “CONFIDENTIAL” and “Do not leak info”. (That sticker wasn’t able to stop the person holding this phone, I suppose.)
Meanwhile, the photos of the Galaxy S8 give us a clear look at the phone’s button-less face. We can also see the Samsung-made on-screen home button at the bottom of the display. Around back, we’re once again treated to a peek at the GS8’s rear camera with a flash on one side and a fingerprint reader on the other.
We’ll have to wait until March 29 for our first official look at the Samsung Galaxy S8, but all of the recent leaks have given us a pretty good idea of what to expect. The big changes include a fingerprint reader on the back of the device next to the camera and on-screen navigation buttons, a first for the Galaxy S line. The GS8 is also expected to include a tall 18:9 display with curved edges on both the regular GS8 and the larger GS8 Plus.
