Mobile World Congress looks like it’s going to be jam-packed with new devices, and it looks like a new Huawei Watch will be among them.
Huawei CEO Richard Yu recently took to Weibo to reveal that the Huawei Watch 2 will debut at MWC 2017 later this month. Details about the Huawei Watch 2 are still light, but with MWC 2017 kicking off on February 27, it won’t be long before details about the new smartwatch are known.
Below is the image that Yu attached to his Weibo post about the Huawei Watch 2, which may hint that the device will have a focus on activity.
The original Huawei Watch has become of the more popular Android Wear smartwatches to date, combining solid specs with a nice design and a round watch face. With the recent launch of Android Wear 2.0, it’d be good to see the Huawei Watch 2 come preloaded with the that update, and perhaps the addition of NFC for Android Pay, a feature that the original Huawei Watch lacks.
What do you want to see from the Huawei Watch 2?
