BlackBerry today expanded its library of Android apps.
Notable is a new app from BlackBerry that’s now available on the Google Play Store. With Notable, you can capture what’s on your screen and then mark it up with text, free-form drawing, or stickers, letting you leave notes on whatever you had on your smartphone’s display.
Once you’ve scribbled on your image, you can share the image to another service, like Evernote, BBM, BlackBerry Hub, and OneNote. You can also set your own quick share action to send your note to an app of your choosing.
Notable is now available for BlackBerry Android phones, like the Priv, DTEK50, and DTEK60. BlackBerry says that Notable will roll out to non-BlackBerry Android phones soon.
BlackBerry’s new Notable app looks nice enough, offering a Material design, giving you a few different ways to capture your screen and mark it up, and then making it easy to share your notes to another app. There’s no shortage of note-taking apps on Android, but if you’re someone that already uses a note-taking app or you think that you might, BlackBerry’s new app may be worth a look.
