Google just unveiled the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style, but those aren’t the only new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches announced today.
The Verizon Wear24 is a new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch that’s exclusive to Verizon Wireless. It’ll launch in March at a price of $299.99 with a two-year contract.
When it comes to the specs of the Wear24, Verizon says that its smartwatch has a 1.39-inch display at 290ppi, NFC for Android Pay, and a 450mAh battery. The Wear24 is also water resistant and able to withstand being submerged in up to 3.3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The Wear24 dimensions include 42mm diameter and 13.5mm thickness.
Verizon’s Wear24 looks like a nice middle ground between the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style. It offers some features found in the Sport but not the Style, like LTE and NFC, while offering a design similar to the Style. So if that sounds like a device that you’d like to strap to your wrist, you’ll be able to get the Wear24 from Verizon next month.
