Google recently revealed that Android Wear 2.0 will officially launch in early February. That’s exciting, but it’s also not the most exact launch timing. The good news is that now we may have a precise date to circle on our calendars.
Android Wear 2.0 will launch on February 9, says prolific leaker Evan Blass. If true, that means that we’ll see Android Wear 2.0 begin rolling out in less than one month.

The update to Android Wear 2.0 is expected to bring several new features. Those include standalone apps, complete with the ability to browse the Play Store on your watch; Android Pay on NFC-equipped smartwatches; a keyboard to type on; and more.
Android Wear 2.0 is expected to hit several watches, including the ASUS ZenWatch 2 and 3, Huawei Watch, Moto 360 2nd Gen and Sport, and the LG Watch Urbane. Google has also confirmed that it plans to launch two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches of its own.
