After launching late last month, it looks like sales of the the LG V20 are off to a good start.
LG announced today that the V20 has sold 200,000 units in the US since its launch on October 28. That’s double the number of units that the LG V10 sold in the 10 days following its launch last year.
The V20 is LG’s newest flagship smartphone, running Android 7.0 on a 5.7-inch 2560x1440 display. Other highlight features of the V20 include a secondary ticker display above the main screen, a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel main camera and 8-megapixel wide angle camera, a Quad DAC for improved audio, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a microSD slot.
The LG V20 has a few things going for it at launch that the V10 didn’t, including a launch at all four major US carriers (the V10 skipped Sprint) and the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall that eliminated one of the V20’s major rivals. Of course, the V20 is a nice high-end Android phone on its own, and now all of these factors are coming together to help the V20 considerably outperform its predecessor.
Have you tried the LG V20 yet? If so, what do you think of it?
