While Huawei is gearing up for the launch of the much awaited Huawei Mate 9 on November 3rd, they haven't forgotten about their other devices. Just a few weeks ago, an anonymous smartphone was certified by China's TENAA. Initially, it was thought that this mysterious mid-range smartphone would be released at the same time as the Mate 9. Today, however, news about the Huawei Enjoy 6 becoming official have started to circulate online.
Meet the Huawei Enjoy 6-- an affordably priced smartphone with a 5-inch AMOLED display screen with a 720p resolution, a metal body build, and a fingerprint reader on the rear. Inside, the phone runs on an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor with 3GB of RAM and an onboard storage of 16GB. A microSD card slot is available for up to 128GB memory expansion along with support for Dual SIM cards. On the back of the Enjoy 6 is a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture while the front is home to a 5-megapixel camera. The device comes with 4G LTE connectivity and VoLTE support. Upon release, the Enjoy 6 already runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Emotion UI 4.1 running on top of it. Lastly, a powerful 4,100mAh battery operates on the back. It will be available in five options-- Gray, White, Gold, Blue, and Pink.
Unfortunately, the Huawei Enjoy 6 is currently only available in the People's Republic for CNY 1,300 ($190). It is slated to be released on November 1st. There's no word on whether or not the device will be made available outside China.
