The HP Elite x3 is available for purchase from Microsoft’s online store, but if you’re more of an instant gratification kind of shopper, you’ll be happy to hear that you’ll soon be able to get an Elite x3 from physical Microsoft stores, too.
Microsoft has confirmed that the HP Elite x3 will be available in its retail stores on Monday, October 10. The HP Elite x3 is priced at $799 — a price that includes a desk dock — in Microsoft’s online store, so don’t be surprised if that’s the price that you see in physical stores, too.
The HP Elite x3 is a flagship Windows 10 Mobile device, offering specs like a 5.96-inch 2560x1440 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, and a 4,150mAh battery. It’s also got a fingerprint reader and an iris scanner for added security, and 64GB of storage that can be supplemented with a microSD card.
The Elite x3 is unlocked and compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile.
While Windows 10 Mobile may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there are still folks out there that like Microsoft’s mobile OS and its Live Tiles. The Elite x3 is the newest flagship Windows 10 Mobile phone, and so it’s good to see that Microsoft will let W10M fans walk into its physical stores to check out the Elite x3 and pick one up rather than having to order online.
