BLU today took the wraps off the latest addition to its lineup of Android smartphones, the Life One X2.
The follow-up to last year’s Life One X, the Life One X2 features an upgraded 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash, up from the Life One X’s 13-megapixel camera. The Life one X2 offers an upgraded front-facing camera, too, with an 8-megapixel camera on its face.
The Life One X2 runs Android 6.0.1 on a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display and it’s available with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both models include a microSD slot for adding more storage if you’d like as well as an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, USB Type-C port, FM radio, fingerprint reader, and 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
Also included is GSM support for LTE bands 2, 4, 7, 12, and 17, meaning that the Life One X2 should work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the US.
All of those features are wrapped in a full metal body that BLU touts as being made of aircraft grade aluminum.
The BLU Life One X2 is available for pre-order on Amazon starting today, with the 2GB/16GB model priced at $149.99 and the 4GB/64GB version carrying a $199.99 price tag. For the next two days, though, you can save 10 percent on the Life One X2, leaving the 2GB/16GB model at $134.99 and the 4GB/64GB version at $179.99.
The Gunmetal Gray Life One X2 will launch on October 7, while the Rose Gold version will be released in November.
