Samsung is prepping a new Android flip phone, and several images that show it off have leaked.
First up, some official-looking renders of the Galaxy Folder 2 have been posted by GalaxyClub.nl. The images show off the Folder 2’s Android navigation buttons, directional pad, Send and End keys, and number keys. We can also see the back of the Folder 2 with its camera and flash.
As for its specs, the Galaxy Folder 2 is said to have a 3.8-inch 800x480 display, 1.4GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage that you can add to with a microSD card. There are also 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras. Powering this whole package is a 2,000mAh battery.
In addition to these renders, some photos of the actual device and its packaging have been shared by Steve Hemmerstoffer. You can check 'em out below.
Samsung has released a few Android flip phones in China in recent years, so it’s no surprise to see that another one is on the way. Unfortunately for flip phone fans outside of China, it’s unlikely that the Galaxy Folder 2 will see much distribution outside of China, so most of us will have to ogle it in images like these. Still, when Samsung makes the Folder 2 official, we’ll be sure to let you know.
