UPDATE: Instagram says that pinch-to-zoom will come to Android "in the coming weeks."
Instagram users, a new feature is coming your way that’ll let you get a closer look at the photos in your feed.
Instagram says that it’s launching a pinch-to-zoom feature in its iPhone app. Pinch-to-zoom will let you zoom in on the photos and videos in your feed, in profiles, and in the Explore page.

Pinch-to-zoom is coming to Instagram today, but the feature doesn’t appear to be live as of this writing.
This is a nice little addition to the Instagram app on iPhone. With it, you can get a closer look at a particular detail in a post, and it even works with videos that you see. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that pinch-to-zoom is available to Android users quite yet, so hopefully Instagram will bring the feature to them soon, too.
