Sony are expected to take the wraps off of a couple of new Xperia X phones tomorrow, but before they do, some official-looking images of the devices have leaked.
Press images of both the Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact have surfaced. The devices look just about what you’d expect from Sony, complete with side-mounted fingerprint readers and physical camera buttons. These two Xperias do have a couple of interesting features, though, like rounded edges instead of square ones like past Xperias.
These two leaked Xperia phones also have rear camera flash setups that are a tad different than their predecessors. The Xperia XZ has its flashes in a line below the camera, while the Xperia X Compact has them in a line to the right of the camera.
Finally, these two Xperias appear to have USB Type-C ports on their bottoms.
The spec details for the Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact are largely up in the air. The good news is that with Sony’s IFA 2016 press event happening tomorrow, Sept. 1, we don’t have long to wait before all is revealed. Until then, you can see more images of these two phones at the link below.
