The LG V20 is set to make its debut on September 6, and while we know that it’ll ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, the rest of the device is a mystery. That may be changing today thanks to a new leak.
Images of what’s said to be the LG V20 have leaked, showing a device with an LG G5-style pill-shaped camera housing with dual sensors. The front of the phone appears to have a secondary screen above the main display, much like the LG V10, but this alleged V20 only has a single front camera rather than the dual cameras used by the V10 for wide-angle selfies.
Also of note is the bottom of the device. The folks at Android Authority suggest that the V20 could offer support for modules like the LG G5, suggesting that it looks like the bottom of this alleged V20 could pop off like it does on the G5. There also appears to be a button on the side of this device that could be pressed to remove the bottom of the unit.
There’s still no word on what kind of spec details that the LG V20 will have to offer. Last year’s V10 was a flagship smartphone with 5.7-inch 2560x1440 display, 4GB of RAM, and a 16-megapixel rear camera, and so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the V20 boast a similarly high-end spec list.
