Following a leak that showed us the new Nexus Launcher that Google is prepping for the upcoming Nexus smartphones, a new leak has surfaced to show us some of the wallpapers that will appear behind that launcher.
Several wallpapers that will reportedly be included with the 2016 Nexus phones have leaked out. There’s a mix of images included, ranging from a boat at sea to some flying birds to some simple dust clouds of color. There are 15 wallpapers in all, but it’s not clear if these are all of the wallpapers that’ll be included with the new Nexus phones or if Google has even more planned.
It’s not known when Google will officially announce its 2016 Nexus phones, but thanks to today’s wallpaper leak, you can make your current phone look a bit like one of those new Nexuses while we wait. The photos are nice, and thankfully the uncompressed versions are available for download, so they’ll look good if you do decide to apply them to your phone. You can find the uncompressed wallpapers right here.
Also of note is that this report suggests that Google is working on new live wallpapers with animations and functions, but we’ll have to wait for more details on those ‘papers to come out.
