Today is the Tuesday after T-Mobile’s Un-carrier 11 announcement, which means that it’s the first T-Mobile Tuesday, too. Unfortunately for T-Mo and its customers, the first T-Mobile Tuesday doesn’t seem to be going totally smoothly.
Several T-Mobile customers say that they’re getting server errors when trying to claim their T-Mobile Tuesdays gifts. Searching the #GetThanked hashtag on Twitter shows many T-Mo customers with an error message that says “There was an error attempting to contact the server. Try refreshing the page.” You can see the screen below.

The good news is that T-Mobile is on it. T-Mo and CEO John Legere have both said that the issue with the T-Mobile Tuesdays app is a result of high demand and that the problem is being worked on.
Wow, you guys REALLY like to be 'thanked'! Very high demand on the app – we’re working on it.

There’s no word yet on when the T-Mobile Tuesdays server issues will be cleared up, but if you were hoping to enjoy some free Domino’s pizza for lunch, you may have to wait until dinner. Here’s to hoping that T-Mo gets its server issues worked out soon. If you’ve been trying to claim your T-Mobile Tuesday goodies and have run into server issues, you may want to hold off for now and try back in a few hours.
Have any of you T-Mobile customers been able to claim a free pizza, Frosty, VUDU rental, and movie ticket?
