Back in March, Instagram announced that it would be tweaking its feed to be more algorithmic and show you the posts that it thinks you’ll be more interested in. Now that feature is starting to roll out globally.
Instagram says that if you haven’t already seen this “new way of ordering posts in feed,” you probably will very soon. The company also reiterated that with this tweaked feed, you won’t miss any posts and that no matter how many accounts you follow, you should still see the latest posts from your best friends.
Instagram’s new feed has caused some concern among its user base, with many Instagrammers urging their followers to turn on notifications for every one of their posts so that they don’t miss anything. Instagram says that most users seem to be taking to the change well, though, touting that in recent months, people are liking photos an commenting more than before.
