We’ve seen a lot of Windows 10 Mobile preview updates lately, but today there are two updates going out for the general public.
Both the AT&T version of the Lumia 640 and the Verizon version of the Lumia 735 are now being updated to Windows 10 Mobile. The news came from Dona Sarkar, the new head of Microsoft’s Windows Insider program. AT&T has also confirmed its Lumia 640 update in its forums, while Verizon has updated its Lumia 735 support page.
Windows 10 Mobile is a big update from Windows Phone 8.1, offering features like the Cortana digital assistant, Microsoft’s new Edge web browser, an improved Windows Store, better Action Center, and much more. If you’ve got an AT&T Lumia 640 or Verizon Lumia 735, you should see the Windows 10 Mobile update on your device in the coming days. To check for the update manually, you can go into Settings > Phone update > Check for updates.
