Remember last month when HTC said that it was sending HTC 10 buyers a “small token of appreciation”? Those gifts have now started hitting doorsteps, meaning that it’s finally been revealed what HTC’s gift is.

Select HTC 10 buyers are receiving a free USB Type-C cable from HTC. The cable has a USB Type-A plug on one end and a USB Type-C on the other so that you can hook up your HTC 10 to a car charger, wall charger, or computer. Also included is a card that says, “For being an awesome fan and purchasing the HTC 10 @ htc.com, we want to thank you with an extra USB-C cable. On top of that we’re giving you UH OH Protection at no extra cost. Thanks! #powerof10”.

USB Type-C cables can vary in price, with HTC’s cable priced at $19.99 and cables on Amazon available for less than $10. Still, this is a nice little gift for HTC 10 owners. Because USB Type-C cables are still fairly new, most folks probably don’t have extras laying around. Thanks to HTC’s gift, though, new HTC 10 owners will have an extra cable for their car or to throw in their bag.
