Over the past month, we’ve seen the Gear Fit 2 leak out three times, including one leak from Samsung itself. Samsung still hasn’t officially announced the new Gear Fit 2, and while we wait for that to happen, another leak has surfaced.
Several images that claim to show the Gear Fit 2 have made their way online. Posted to Twitter, they show photos of the Gear Fit 2 with its screen on and displaying different functions, like a distance tracker and heart rate monitor. Also included are images of a screen that shows the time, floors climbed, steps taken, and calories burned.
According to past leaks, the Gear Fit 2 will have a 1.84-inch AMOLED display and a GPS chip, the latter being a feature that will help you to track your activity while you’re out and about. The design of the Gear Fit 2 is said to be more curved and ergonomic than the original Gear Fit, which ought to make it a more comfortable workout partner.
It’s not clear when Samsung will actually announce the Gear Fit 2, but hopefully it’ll be soon so that we can stop staring at it in leaked photos and actually see it on our wrists.
